Membership applications must be sent with copy of your qualifications and insurance certificate. Podiatrists must provide their Number. Acceptance is by approval of the governing board. The governing board decision is final.

The membership is of a seven Tier system 1, senior member (elected by the Governing board after two years membership or an elected Board members) and Podiatrists after 3 years membership,) 2, advanced member Podiatrist after 2 years membership or FHP after 3 years membership 3, Podiatrist 4, Foothealth Practitioners 5, Domiciliary workers, 6, Health workers. 7, reflexologists. Membership applications is by approval of the governing board only.

You must have insurance to practise. For continuous membership. And agree to the professional standards set out in your industry. Carry out CDPs as required set out in your industry.
Training establishments can join the council of the independent foothealth association.
Again, this is subject of approval of the governing board.
The board is made up of a min of 1 Podiatrist 1 Foothealth practitioner 1 administrator. and a max of 6 board members. In all cases the board decision is final. Membership into the board is by invitation only.
